About Me

Ilona Glowacka, born 1970 in Czestochowa, Poland. Graduated from the Art Collage in her hometown and studied for 2 years at Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow under Jan Szancenbach's guidence.

After collage she worked as exhibition manager  for Czestochowa Town Museum. She also did commision work in conservation including  restoration of the 17th Century frecoes in Warta Church.
Since she moved to Ireland  she was developing further her painting techniques. Currently she exhibits her works in The Sandford Gallery, Dublin and Norman Gallery, Rathnure and Green Acres Gallery, Wexford.


She took part in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including:
